Yol Jewelry

When traveling, one always leaves a trail behind, footprints, a cairn….

To remember the journey, I collect small objects, pebbles and rocks that fill my pockets. When I eventually stop for a while, in an oasis, a harbor. I compile these little souvenirs in travelogues which will go on traveling with someone else, around their neck, their fingers or on their boutonniere..

Along with objects I also acquire ancient techniques from artisans friends and master jewelers, from Africa to Asia. Expertise that enriches my work and continue to live in contemporary pieces. Each piece of jewelry tells a story of a long journey in which Amazonia encounters Mongolia, China, Turkey, Italy, Ardèche…
