Hertex: the beautiful and the beasts...

We’re thrilled to welcome Hertex back to Design Joburg Collective. From 17 to 21 May, they’ll be swinging open their Kramerville doors and inviting #DJC22 visitors inside. So prepare to explore all things new in their fabric and wallpaper world.

We can certainly always rely on Hertex for new releases, and their latest line-up doesn’t disappoint. Check out Airy Fairy, a collection of glamorous curtaining fabrics, or Cuban Jungle, featuring oversized jungle leaves and geometrics. (As a bonus, this last collection adheres to stringent EU environmentally-responsible production standards.)

Also catching our eye: their Animal Attraction faux-leather launch. With an impressive 50 000 Martindale rub count and eight authentic shades, we think this is a superbly superior (and very usable) offering. Some say it even rivals the real thing! We like the washed, textured appearance of the Javan range and the neutral shades from the Bison range – both ideal for oversized modular upholstery,

Visitors can go animal spotting at Hertex at Design Joburg Collective, running alongside Design Joburg as a fringe event this May.
